New Characters and Engine Change?


     I did some more spritework and also made another map, as well as an animation. I want to make more but I'm at the point of being close to done with a playable demo, and have since decided to upgrade the game from RPGM VXA to RPGM MV which means I am going to have to re-make EVERYTHING :D Why I create extra work for myself like this I will never understand, but it is what it is and I can't change lol. It was important to me to have the option to export for web browsers and also the potential of app exports down the road for major projects. I'm also looking into playing around with blender, unity, and I've been practicing 2D animation, and looking into bone-based options as well. What this means for the protype: probably nothing. A lot of that is wayyy down the road stuff and between you and me: I don't even have a computer chair yet since I moved xD I can safely say all work is being done in bed and it's killing my back.

     I'm thinking about streaming some of the last few bits, but now that I know I'm changing everything I'm reluctant to complete what's left on my demo to-do list. I may en u just cleaning up what graphics I have with some functions and throw it up for people to get a feel for it. Anyhow, meet Tillie and James, a brother and sister who live in Zoe's town. She spends her time with Tillie a lot and works with Jame's Boyfriend at the grocery store.

     This whole thing was designed to be practice, so not completing it doesn't quite break my heart, but I want to make sure there's at least a clear message/objective. Right now it's kind of a self care simulator and I think that works.
